MyOwnPage provides each user with an individual space on a given website. There are two versions for MyOwnPage: MyOwnNews for news sites and MyOwnShop for e-commerce sites.
The users will be able to access a personal section on your website, which they can customize and enrich according to their own tastes and needs.
- On an information website:
Using MyOwnNews, users can literally create their own news feeds, which contain articles according only to their subjects of interest. The customized news feed is continuously updated.
- On a commercial website :
Using MyOwnShop, users can create their own virtual store, fully described in terms of store categories, products, promotions and product suggestions. Basically, they are defining their own store within the website store, which corresponds perfectly to their buying interests.
Upon each connection your users will immediately access their personal store.

How it works
Below you have a MyOwnShop example:
1. On the commercial site, click on the MyOwnShop link
2. You can create as many store categories as you wish, depending on what products the site has to offer
- For example: My DVDs, My Birthday, My children
- You can browse these categories and change their order
3. You can use Widgets to customize your store categories:
- Click on the desired Widget from the list of widgets under the “Customize” tab
- You can create as many Widgets as you want and you can position them anywhere on your personal page
- Widget can easily be removed
The following widgets are available: Search Widgets:
- “Product search”: used to find the products you are interested in on the website, for example, your favorite singer
- “Special offer search”: used to find the best offers for the products you are interested in, for example, video game discounts
Recommendations Widgets:
- “Site suggestions”: offers a list of products you might enjoy, but of which you haven’t thought yet
- “check-list”: organizes your purchasing plans, so you’ll never forget what you have to buy
4. Each time you login onto the website, your categories will be available. Only the product and prices that have changed will be updated.
5. You can use another set of widgets to prepare your purchase:
- “Favorites”: is a shopping cart that keeps track of all the products you usually like to buy
- You can drag and drop any product from the Search or Recommendation Widgets into Favorites Widget
- Other useful widgets are also available: planner, notes, weather…
6. In order to finalize your purchase, you have to drag the desired products into your Shopping Cart, which is shared by all categories.
